Design Brief
Shree Datta Snacks has retail outlet presence at key exit points around Mumbai, including Panvel, Manor, and highways to Pune and Nashik, offering convenient stops for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner. This default model has proven successful, with each new outlet reinforcing Shree Datta’s presence in high-traffic areas.
Our Approach
We are the preferred design firm for Shree Datta Snacks since 2019. Taking cues from their existing default strategy and looking into the future, the brand was keen to open an outlet at an international exit point – the International Airport Terminal 2. In June 2023, the brand opened its outlet in QSR format at Mumbai’s International Airport, Terminal 2, arrival gate, marking a key milestone. Pencil Point Designs worked alongside beyound Designs, an architectural firm specialising in kitchen to create a cohesive brand experience for the space. We focused on the outlet's colours, materials, signage, and menu to align with the brand image. The space showcases a harmonious blend of steel and wood in green tones, creating a thoughtfully designed atmosphere. The English logo, introduced at this outlet, has been well-received by arriving travellers as well as customers, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Customers known to the Client have been proactive in sharing their excitement to see their brand grow. As the brand continues to grow, this design language lays the foundation for the future redesign of all Shree Datta outlets, ensuring a consistent brand experience across locations as the company grows.
