The Project

Design Brief

Through our long-standing association with Al Aziz, we have witnessed their journey of innovation and growth, with exports reaching 10 countries. From conceptualization to mold making and full-scale execution, we have seen their evolution from a single-category product company to a diverse portfolio spanning four key sectors—electricity, water, gas, and solar. In 2021-22, we reimagined the company as a 'Limitless Innovations' company on a global scale.

In 2023, Al Aziz participated in two major industry events—Plast India, one of India’s largest trade shows held every three years, and the Indian Water Works Association (IWWA) event. We were invited to design their exhibition booth for both events. The first was IWWA in Pune in January, followed by Plast India in Delhi just a week later.

The company wanted to project its product portfolio in full glory—despite limited space—along with live demos of its most recent product innovations. Our task was to plan the space efficiently, which would give separate space for client interactions, product innovations, and product displays.

Our Approach

The IWWA booth focused on products related to water transmission. The event usually attracts government and regulatory authorities, along with customers. So, the target audience was B2B for marketing and B2C for brand awareness. We designed an L-shaped booth for IWWA, showcasing a wide range of water transmission products and their innovations at the government, regulatory, and contractor levels. One of the key demos featured the first stainless steel sprinkler made in India. To demonstrate it effectively, we ideated an acrylic dome to encase the sprinkler at the center. Water cycled from the tank at the bottom to the sprinkler, allowing people to witness it in action up close.

Another demo featured the Multiport Saddle Clamp—an innovation that reduces last-mile distribution effort by over 60% as a single Multiport Saddle Clamp provides five equal, highpressure outlets for further distribution. The demo unit recycled water from a tank at the bottom, pumping it up to the large pipe where the clamp was attached.

As the company had laid out plans to participate in various exhibitions across India, we detailed some elements for reuse. These were designed and fabricated for longer life, optimizing fabrication costs.

Plast India is the largest exhibition in India, focusing on everything related to plastics. Held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the exhibition covers various industries, including mold-making, injection molding, printing, pipes, and machinery for plastic products. It offers international exposure and visibility. The brief was to showcase products from all categories—Water, Gas, Electricity, and Solar—along with the 2-star innovations: the stainless-steel sprinkler and the Multiport Saddle Clamp.

The booth layout was designed for impact, with 60% of the space focused on product displays. A dedicated guest area was set up for high-level visitors to meet and chat with the Managing Director. The demo areas were set up as interactive spaces, allowing visitors to experience the demos. The booth was appreciated by visitors and generated a lot of inquiries during the 5-day event.

From a branding perspective, 'Limitless Innovations' became a core part of product communication, design briefs, and brand strategy. People connected with it, seeing it in action and linking it to the brand’s products and endless possibilities.
