Client: Advance Eye Hospital & Institute

Advance Eye Hospital & Institute (AEHI) is a specialty hospital that focuses on prevention, treatment and education of all medical conditions related to the eyes. It is located on Palm Beach Road, close to Vashi at Navi Mumbai.
Pencil Point Designs came on board when the launch of AEHI was just 60 days ahead. We were assigned to design and implement the hospital’s entire signage system. We took up the challenge and designed the hospital directory, usual interior signs, backlit signs at the reception and outdoor glow signs.
The first month was spent in planning and designing the entire signage system. We carefully considered and studied the locality, space and other influencing factors. Discussions with Dr. Vandana Jain, Managing Director and her critical inputs helped us with the choice of materials, colours and other requirements for the signage system. We also discussed the possibility of having tactile communication using braille and lent it to our designs to have them incorporated wherever necessary.
The use of brand design in the form of an eye and brow was immediately approved and was much appreciated. The production of approved designs took about three weeks followed by a week for implementation. Our constant pursuit for perfection and respect for time helped us deliver our promises.
